Hi Carol I found out a little information about George Link I contacted the Archives in Barnsley & told me about a site that might be useful to me it was wombwell-on-the-net.org.uk it had old photo,s of Wombwell from the 1900,s & things about Wombwell then I saw there were something about Woods Glass factory as you said about being a glasshand I knew my uncle Jack Senior worked at the glass factory that is Phyllis Senior brother who married Tom Link George,s son there were a group photo of the workers on the left bottom row sat on the floor was George, Tom looks like his dad. Also there were a girls who worked there it said a girl called Micklewaite I looked it was my auntie Joan who married Jack Senior so I have sent a message to Wombwell Society to see if anyone can help me about the Link family.I then sent a message to the cremetorim for deaths & cremations in Barnsley to see if George had died & was buried in Wombwell they could not find anything so the mystery goes on. He came from Knottingley area . I thoght you might like to know what I have found so far. Thanks again for all your information you have got for me. Jenny
