Census search form

Why has the census search form been changed so that you now enter the age on the census day?

There is no way now to add a band or years to search so I have no idea whether it is only searching the exact age, +/- 1 years, +/- 2 years, +/- 10 years?

When I look someone up I normally have their date of birth so now have to do a calculation each time with the possibility of making an error in the calculation

The original version of the form is still there just not linked from the home page. The home page is the UK census collection for each year but I can't see why they have to have a different form.

I've just noticed that Harrow is finally in Middlesex on the 1851 and not in Berkshire.......hoorah!

Not sure if that's part of the recent update?
To be honest I'd given up all hope of it ever being corrected.;-)so it may have happened earlier.
