What makes me smile, is the idea that Brightsolid must charge 10 credits for a transcription and 30 for an image because of high costs to transcribers and copiers.

I transcribe the b/m/d records for FreeBMD on a voluntary basis, but I assume someone must charge Ancestry when another year is made available, and goodness knows how many extra requests the Record Office get for certificates at 7 quid each, every time a batch of transcriptions goes online.
