Thanks to ancestry.com and family trees, I reconnected with my sister. I lost her 27 years ago and searched for her for years. I had given up after so many brick walls.

Two days ago I was working on my family tree and there was a leaf next to my father's name. This appeared as very odd to me. Having a very inquisitive personality, I clicked on the leaf, which took me to the hint, which led led me to the family tree. Contacted the owner and it was my sister. I couldn't believe my eyes. I was so excited and moved until all I could do was laugh and cry all at once. I was so excited that I couldn't sleep that night. She and I are in constant contact catching up with our lives. Through her, I was able to find our two brothers.

This happening was like getting a lifetime of Christmas presents all at once. It is such a wonderful feeling.
