When I click View Relationship to Me for Joseph Brewster, it says: "Your 3rd cousin 8x removed." When I click View Relationship to Me for his son, Elijah Brewster, it doesn't say "Your 4th cousin." Instead, it says: "6th great grandfather of wife of brother-in-law of uncle." Both relationships are true, but ancestry.com Tech Support told me it's supposed to default to the closest blood relationship, which is 4th cousin. Instead, it's stuck saying Elijah is separated by two marriage links. Tech Support told me they are unable to explain why this bug is happening.
