The census records are a very useful tool to find out several things you may not know about your ancestors. How old were they, where did they live - state, city, county, home street address, where were they born, where were their parents born, how many kids were there, how many times were they married, what languages did they speak, what kind of job did they have, did they live in a house or apartment, did they own or rent their home, was this home owned or on a mortgage. But, the info was recorded only 10 yr periods.
