Go to

I found Guillermo Taylor's death certificate image on the above web site. Try typing in the other names as well. I used Brewster County, Texas for Guillermo Taylor but this web site has Texas death certificates from about 1910 to 1976 as images. Great web site if you do not already have it.

Surnames: Taylor, Rodriguez
Estimated birth was 1887 and died in 1963. Found on pilot.familysearch.org . He apparently was my great grandfather on my dad's sided of the family. My dad's mother's name was Dora Taylor and Married to my grandfather Eulalio Rodriguez who remarried when she died at age 32. I believe that was from Emphysema? I didn't know much about that side of the family but have been curious and recently started researching. You may want to double check info due to misspellings and stuff.

I am helping a good friend with finding her roots
in Brewster county, Texas. Guillermo Taylor was the son of William Taylor and Francisca Mares Taylor. Do you know anything about this far back on the family of Guillermo
Taylor. He had a sister Leonor, born in 1891, and another sister Rosalia, born in 1878. Do you have any stories on this family. I know some more if you want the information.

Sounds like the same person. The only info I would have is from the point when my dad's mom, Dora, passed away. For some reason the families did not keep in touch or anything. To my knowledge I am the only person interested in meeting or getting to know more about that side of the family. It's like a bonus that I've acquired so much today alone. I can be reached at tx.robriguez@gmail.com if ok with you or your friend.

I will give your e-mail To Ovita, my friend for alot of the information. I will tell you how it got started and she will
give more information on censuses.

William Taylor was born in Ireland or England in about 1850. He married Francisca Mares in Kinney Co., Texas.
She was born in Eagle Pass in Maverick County., Texas.
They had Rosalia Taylor Uris in about 1878 in Kinney county. Latter they move I am not quite sure when, I think about 1890's to Brewster county, I think in Terlingua.
William died there and Francisca live with Leonor and Rosalia, and also Guillermo later in Alpine. Ounce I give Ovita your e-mail she will get things going. She even has pictures of the entire family.Ovita's great granmother was Rosalia who was the sister to Guillermo.

Wow! Definitely sounds like similar histories. Thanks so much for the background update, it really means a lot to me. Sounds like we may be distant relatives but relatives just the same. :-) Guillermo had a daughter by the name of Dora that married my grandfather Eulalio Rodriguez. I spoke to my mom earlier and she said that Dora died during childbirth in approx. 1957 while giving birth to my uncle Rick. Total, together they had 7 children in Alpine, TX, with my dad Peter T. Rodriguez being one of them. He died in an auto accident in 1969 (Father's Day), leaving only me, my brother Ruben and Sister behind. My mother is currently living in Espanola N.M. and I am in San Antonio. I am hoping to find relatives that are cousins and such but have not leads as to whether Dora had brothers or sisters so my search continues in that respect but I'm so glad that I am a little closer to family origins. :-) I look forward to chatting a little more with her, I would love to hear what she knows if she decides to contact me. I'll be a little busy getting Thanksgiving together on my end so I may take a little longer to reply but will most definitely reply. Y'all have a great Thanksgiving. Thanks for giving me another person to be thankful for. :-)

In reference to Guerillmo 'William' Taylor. In the media section of the Cuparo+Ruffalo+Bracalello+Aguilar+Gil Family Tree there is a photo titled 'Family Affair July 12, 1912'. Standing next to the bridesmaid, Maria Aguilar, is an English gentleman named Guerillmo 'William' Taylor. The photo was taken at the hacienda of Manuel Gil Marroquin (seated). Manuel Gil is my great grandfather. My grandfather Tranquilino Aguilar is on the far right. Both grandparents are politically connected.

Hi

Where was this photo titled "Family Affair July 12,
1912". Was in Terlingua or Alpine in Brewster county, Texas.
Where was Manuel Gil from? I need some kind of connection
with the Guerillmo William Taylor. Please explain.
