The help desk will tell you, if you ever get through, that the reason for the "help" page's not working is something to do with your computer. That is not correct.
You can email the helpdesk: helpdesk-post@rootsweb.com.
This is what I do since the Help Page quit working for me.
Keep in mind that Help Desk is staffed by volunteers, who are in no way responsible for the problems due to the *update* changes, or problems that have occurred later due to someone tinkering with programs. All they can do is try to take on problems as reports come in -- by trying to figure out who would know about the problem and possibly be able to explain it or even fix it.
Since Ancestry managers are *not* going to return to the previous incarnation of the message boards, give up on that and have some kindness for the Help Desk volunteers. They really do want to help the users.
