For more than a week Rootsweb seems to be having problems. I am one of MANY who can't access FILE MANAGER, WWW Rootsweb and Freepages intermittently SEVERAL times a day. I manage several web accounts for a USGenWeb Project, and 2 local GenSoc including my own Freepages account. I am on cable and I have no problems at all accessing NON-Rootsweb pages. Many times the HELP DESK has also been inaccessible ---including Message Boards. I have yet to see any kind of notice on the HELP DESK about this ongoing issue. Folks are complaining on lists so I know I am not alone. Our USGenWeb State CC did a tracer on Rootsweb and said it appears that there is a connection problem between Rootsweb and Ancestry servers. I have had no luck in getting much done on my sites with all the connection difficulties. Can someone please look into this?
