I too miss the myriad city directories that were on AncestryPlus. And they are NOT on the regular Ancestry.com. I understand they were probably owned by the partner, Thomas Gale company, but they were extremely useful for large cities and ancestors that moved around the Northeast for work.
I hope you intended your post to be humorous - it sounded arrogant and condescending in this format. Really there are enough whiners and grousers that we don't need to add to the problem when a legitimite question is asked. Ancestry is far and away the most complete and best value form of genealogy research product available. Improvements are possible and welcome. When something gets taken away, we miss it. I hope they find a way to bring back this resource.
