So - gave it another try, and when I went to switch back it said I could leave comments. So I did, but it refused to load them - just stalled out.
As such, here is what I was trying to say: the "sources" list in the new profile page does not actually link to any sources, as previously was the case. My personally added web links are not working, nor are the census pages, etc. - all it does is show you what fact that source goes to. In other words, they just pulled out the things that used to be within the timeline as sources, took up a lot more real estate to display them separately, but then made them pointless, as there is no way to go and see the document/site to which they refer.
Also, where is something equivalent to the facts/sources tab in the old profiles, where one could edit the cite, delete it, add it to another fact, etc.? I can't believe it's gone entirely, given how important it is, but I can't find it.
Edit: and why on earth are we taking up space in the timeline with a "gender" fact??
