When I submit an "Update" to an Ancestry record, one of the "reason" options offered is
"Information not Transcribed".

Having submitted the Update I find my "contribution" is identified as
"Added additional data not found on the record"
which is not what I selected.

Perhaps I am taking the verbiage too literally? But if accuracy is ever to be part of Family History, a good starting point would be to separate transcription corrections from user submitted data from other sources
