Ludlow, I originally linked that image in November of 2012 - obviously at that time I was able to read it and determine it was useful to my research. Ancestry has since changed its zoom capability with some media, something Burgess was aware of when he pointed me to a thread in which the issue was briefly mentioned.
This image however, and several others I've come across, were previously legible and are no longer scalable. I have the same issue in both Explorer and Chrome. In this example, the issue is on Ancestry's end. Perhaps it is the format that was used .jpg v .bmp,. png, etc. that is no longer compatible with scaling. It would be nice to know so we can format our media accordingly.
