I am a user of ancestry.co.uk, and until today, when I added an event such as a marriage, and started to write the place name in the location field, the drop-down list of suggested place names would start with English locations. Any obscure locations not in the Ancestry database which I had used before would also be listed.

Now, however, I see that only USA locations appear in this list, meaning that for each entry I have to write out the place and county name in full, wasting my time. You know that county names in England are usually long and have awkward spellings. See the attached screen shot.

Why has this happened suddenly?
