A couple weeks ago I did a little exploring on other genealogy sites, and sites for old photos. Imagine my surprise when I saw two pictures of MINE that I have only shared on Ancestry.com, that were used on another home page to reel in subscribers. Does ancestry share our photos with other sites? The pictures were of my brother when he was a toddler. He died in 1970 so I was actually reluctant to even share these, but I have made so many wonderful contacts with relatives that I just wanted them to know that my brother is not just a name....he was a real person. BACK to the question...does Ancestry share our photos with other sites, or did someone just take them? I may rethink the public verses private settings in the future, or not upload anything in the future.
