I am interested to see how many people are having a problem with the Rootsweb message board flat view/ thread view. There has been considerable discussion about a cookie issue and no concrete solution.

I think most people here log in through Ancestry, but after reading Joan's thread, I tried the Rootsweb board and found that I had a problem too, so it can't be as isolated as she is being told.

Please click on the link below and report:


1. What view do you first see? (Thread or flat?)

2. If you see the thread view, can you change it to FLAT view with 25 or 50 messages?
....If you see the flat view first, can you keep it at 50 messages?

3. Browser, version and what O/S?

4. Do you normally log into the boards through Ancestry or Rootsweb?
