Thank you for looking for the link to the post you were speaking of (which I already did find), which is not about viewing images but about viewing trees.

The OP and I are not talking about trees. We want to see document images within the image viewers.

I don't like the new viewer because I get large gray blotches covering part of the page - usually including the part I especially want to look at. If I zoom out, most of them disappear, but when I try to use the magnifier they are back.
