I've made my peace with the whole public tree/private tree thing. At one point I made my tree private because one parasitic person was Hoovering up all my "stuff" and wouldn't let me have a peek at her precious private tree even after a couple of requests. But I finally figured out that even if my tree was private, my photos and information got out in the world anyway because people with access to my tree were putting my photos and information on their public trees. So I went public again.
