Poor Qualitty Printing

Poor Qualitty Printing

Every time I've tried to print my family tree poster project, it's a disaster. The resolution on a 36x24 poster is 30 DPI - 10% of what an average laser printer considers legible. I've tried both normal and "high quality" printing with the same results. In addition, no matter what I do the image will not print properly on the page. If I print as is, the image prints in landscape on a portrait page. If I try to change to a landscape page, the image prints in portrait. I'm using a Mac with OSX, Firefox 3 and an Epson R1800.

Apologies if this comes across a tad sarcastic - I am, at this moment very frustrated with ancestry and company. But, I'm beginning to think they don't want You to print it out - much less save it to your hardrive - they want you to Buy from them.
