I think that either their site took a hit from a hacker, the last upgrade is the problem, or they lost a server. The same thing is happening with the 1910 census. The index is there, but some of the images are simply gone.

I get a message "Error Processing Request" . I've reported it to Ancestry, and initially got a response that made me think that they thought I was a moron. I had checked other images besides the one that I wanted to see, some were there, but others in the same county that I wanted to check were gone.

After my initial problem image, I thought, okay, I'll bypass the search engine, go to the state, and county and then to the township and look it up that way. When I did, only one township for that county was on the list, when there were about twenty townships previously.

I could view images in that remaining township, so it wasn't me. It was the database. I did a random check on states and counties that I didn't even have any interest in, and found some were okay, but some weren't.

That proved that it wasn't my ability to view the images, they simply weren't there.

The image that was the subject of my interest was one that I had viewed before, and I just wanted to check a couple of details so I know that it existed on their server once.
