I would like to see Ancestry Tree submitters who choose to make their trees PRIVATE (for a variety of reasons) given the option to elect to make their private trees PUBLIC when they show up in a DNA match for their "cousins." I can't imagine anyone with a tree public or private not wanting to make contact with probable new cousins (but of course it should be the tree owner's CHOICE). It is very frustrating to browse through all the matches and even find shaky leaves that we have an exact matching ancestor...and then have the tree private and never hear back from the person if you contact them. Most times I just give up and when I see that a tree is PRIVATE I just ignore that match. That defeats the whole purpose of DNA testing and matching.
