They have chosen not to use first names so the surname may come up for hundreds of people. What we need to know is what is the priority for the computer after locating surname. I suspect it locates birthyear or birthplace, probably birthplace next. This works well with some items but can be especially challenging for items where there is no birth year such as early census item, newspapers, books, maps, etc. I wish they could tell us the order of priority given to different fields.
