I wouldn't even care if the surnames matches weren't listed by confidence level. I can figure that out. Between the spelling differences - Braidy/Brady, Fraiser/Frazer/Fraser for example - and the possible but unproven surnames [how many Giles matches before I an confirm we are related?] it would save me hours to be able to search by surname.

I also use text files by surname to keep my possible matches straight. I use SnagIt for screen shots - it is the best!

Being able to search by handle would be a great help as well. Currently I have 2 matches to a 5th great grandfather plus two possible matches to other families. I keep having to ask those matches to please go through their cousin lists to see if they also have that person listed.

And being able to search the Private trees by surname so we could know if they are worth contacting would be wonderful. That or require them to be open to DNA matches but private to the entire Ancestry.
