after having done genealogical researches for many years I have meanwhile specialized on finding birth mothers and half-siblings in Germany, especially if babies were fathered by US military men in Baden-Württemberg, Hessen and Bavaria. So I have been able to find the mothers and half-siblings of Americans who after the research was accomplished have become close friends.

If you are looking for your German birth family or know anybody who is searching for them, you may wish to talk to those whose family I have found. All of them will be more than happy to share their success stories and talk about their experiences.

I quite often post messages on the adoption board for Germany, on the general German and on the Baden-Württemberg boards to provide general information on how to search for biological mothers and siblings in Germany.
