The family of Richard Davis is searching for his sister May (Mae) or Mary E. Davis or her children. Both Richard and May or Mary E. were born to Nora Sirbaugh and Willie (William) N. Davis in Berkeley Co. WV and adopted from the Davis Child Shelter in the early 1940's. Richard's only child would love to know any cousins she might have.

The 1940 census shows Richard in Kanawha County (in Davis Child Shelter at the time), and his sister's name is shown as Mary E. Davis not May as we believed.

We are still hoping to make a connection between the children of Richard and Mary Davis.
