My Mother was born on 20 May 1923 at the Old
Richmond Memorial Hospital in Richmond, VA.
She was placed for adoption in the Foundling Hospital of Richmond (certificate #22536). Neither of these places still exist. Does anyone have any idea where the records for
these two locations would be located today? My Mother's birth name was Elizabeth Mae Seymour. Her Mother's name is Mildred Margaret Seymour. Can anyone give me any leads as to where to check for records? Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.
