I am looking for information on the adoption of two children born to Suzanne Stewart by her first husband who remains unknown. She married Edward A Shear in 1874 and he adopted her two boys, Cyrus B. and William H. The name on Cyrus B. Shears death certificate listed the father as Lovern. I would love to find any infornation on the birth father of this children. Cyrus B. is my Great Grandfather.

Suzanne's family resided in Utah. Her father was Nathaniel Stewart and Pheobe A. Cole.

I know that Suzanne and Edward where living in Salt Lake in 1890.

Any information on how I might track down information on this adoption would be most helpful.
