My father was adopted on Oct. 21, 1942 by William Roath and Marie Inez Hill Nicholson.My fathers real mothers name is Marjorie Whitner, she gave birth to my father on january 23 1939 in Edgefield, South Carolina naming him William Randoplh Nicholson Whitner. Dont know anything about my fathers birthmother or his adopted father or if he was his adopted father, my father always said he was adopted and didnt know his mother.My fathers adopted mother divorced his adopted father when my father was young and moved to indiana so dont know much about either side of the family so if any body can help i thank you tichnor@bellsouth.net
