Similarities here: I was adopted to a Navy Couple, thru private agency in late 1950's in Providence, Rhode Island, with natural Native American Heritage on maternal side, (Birth name according to "Name Change" document was Karen Holland), HOLLAND; a name on Dawes Rolls as Cherokee. Holland may the husbands Surname, or maiden name of mother who was married at the time.
