Seeking information on my Grandmother.

She was born in Oct of 1941 at the New York State Training School for Girls in Hudson, NY.

On her baptism records it shows mother as Katherine (Catherine) McMillan.

She was adopted by Eleanor & Stanley Decker. She grew up in Warwick, NY area. Adoption was done through Orange County Surrogate Court. Their attorney was Mr.Paul Carr and the social worker who handled the case was Caroline M Cuddeback. From all the paperwork it appears she was adopted in January of 1943. I have the adoption papers and correspondence with the Deckers and Ms.Cuddeback.

My grandmother said that Eleanor would talk about her birth mother, like she knew them. She did say her name was Katherine (Catherine) Mcmillan and that she had become pregnant at 15 or 16.
