I am trying to find info on my lineage. My mother's birth name was Zabicki. I believe her father's name was Edward Zabicki and he may have been married to a Mary Marsh(birth mother) at some point in 1930s-1940s. I know for sure they had another daughter(Barbara) and a son(Edward or Eddie). Possibly, more children besides the three I know of. My mother, Linda and her older sister Barbara were sent to live with Alfred Giganti and his wife Kitty in Hempstead NY,who became their foster parents. They were never officially adopted by the Gigantis as far as I know, but they did use the last name Giganti from that point on. Because of this, I am having great difficulty finding anything about my birth grandparents. All I know is that my maternal grandmother, Mary(?) died when my mother was very small and that my grandfather remarried. I believe he may have passed away in 1986. Are there any Zabickis out there who know of this family's story who can help me?
