My mom was born in 1934. Her birth certificate states her father as John Butch and mother as Helen McWhirr. The mother gave her up to the Smiths at birth. After some research I found my mother had 4 other siblings she did not know about, Christine, John, Freida(Grace) and Jeanette, my moms name is Mabel Mae.The other siblings were given the last name Carr.My mother lived in New Brunswick N.J. until she was put in an orphanage at age 9. I am not sure if John Butch was truly the father. Helen McWhirr had siblings who names are John, Frederick, Natalie, and Margeret.
