I am trying to find any information on Connie - my mother was adopted at 18 months and Connie was her biological mother. I know her other chidren's names but I'm looking for any information surrounding my mother's birth. I know my mother was born in Durham, NC 7Dec40 and her given name was Linda - I believe Connie was unmarried at the time. I know that Connie was in the USMC and I can only guess that it was before my mother was born but it could have been after since her next child was born several years after my mother. My mother has never known who her father was and since she wasn't adopted until she was 18 months a lot could have transpired between her birth and adoption. I have no idea if there is still an original birth cert out there somewhere, either, or how to begin to look for it.

A few other things I know is that she was a Jehovah's Witness and lived primarily in Charlotteville, VA though I believe she was from South Caroling.
