Looking for information on my father-in-law's birth family. He was born 25 Mar 1929 at The Willows Sanitorium in KC. His adopted parents (name Reavis) took him to Oklahoma. We have copies of letters prior to & after the adoption from The Willows as well as a birth certificate & the adoption papers. Mother's name was McGuire, Irish; no name for father (Missouri Farm Boy). Letters indicate the name Coyt had to be used in the baby's name, which his adopted parents honored, but don't know if this is a surname or a family name. Any information would be appreciated.
