I have a step grandfather Claud Harold Tietjens born in 1926, Michigan (according to SSdeath index) and he was adopted. I am trying to help my aunt Jackie and Mary find a half brother named Harold (his mother's name Joann). My aunts told me that their father talked a lot about St. Louis Missouri and that is where he grew up. His adopted name may be Golden or Tietjens. His biological mother was a full blooded indian. When Claud was 15 he left home and joined the Marines. He talked about living with a family that had two sisters and possibly a brother.
