My mother, Sandra(Sandy)Brooks had a child when she was about 18 years old. She adopted him out to give him a better life. My estimated date of his birth is 1968. What I have been told is that she met him when he was an adolescent and he wanted nothing to do with her. I'm not sure that I would either at that age. She again reached out to him when she knew she was dying of cancer in 1994. She didn't tell any of her children about him. We found out about him several years later when my Uncle Mark (also adopted out from my grandmother at a young age and later found by my mom) shared it with us. I have also been told he lived in Hesperia, MI and looked much like my brother Bryan.
