Fern was adopted in Marion, Kansas in 1925 by George & Zula Beaston of Marion, Kansas, USA. Her mother Mary, dropped her off at an orphan home in Kansas, named Life Line Home.I don't know why Edward did not keep her or what happended to Bernice. I think Mary died in 1923 in Ohio,just after taking Fern to the home. But that is not verified fact. However, the dates don't match up completely. So any help will be greatly appreciated.
