My grandmother and her three siblings were sent to the Annie Whitmeyer Home in the early 1900s. The home has since closed down. I'd appreciate any data on where their records are now. My greatgrandmother was a white woman who wed a black man and they had foure children. She later divorced and remarried a white man who didn't want the black children so she put them up for adoption at the Annie Whitmeyer home. I am seeking my grandmother's maiden name before she was adopted.
