She is my father's grandmother, but she is the one person I can find little information on. She was born in Connecticut in 1870, and married a German immigrant by the name of Charles F Lovine sometime after 1884 and before 1891.

It is believed her last name is Pratt, and that she was related to the Buckinghams. I found a Lottie H Pratt listed as Carrie A Pratt's sister in the 1880 census in Newtown, CT. Carrie was the daughter of David W. Buckingham of New Haven, having married Homer S Pratt, son of Martin Pratt of Bantam Falls, CT.

The problem is that no one from either the Pratts or the Buckinghams had a daughter named Charlotte (Lottie) in 1870 as far as I can tell. This leaves her parentage in question since I cannot find a birth record, a marriage record, or even a death record for her. I do know that Charles F Lovine had a painting in his house of the State Assembly that was given to him by one of the Buckinghams, and it was believed to have come from Lottie's side of the family.

Does anyone have any info on her that they can share? I would really appreciate it since this is the last big hole I need to fill in my father's family tree.
