I just came across the text of a legal decision from the Supreme Court of Connecticut. The case involves Mary E. Bailey (on Jun 15, 1949 she gave birth to a daughter at Hartford Hospital) and Harry Mars et al. It was decided on Mar. 18, 1952 by the Supreme Court of Connecticut. “It is our conclusion that the statute gives the plaintiff no right by implication which permitted her to deprive the Probate Court of its jurisdiction in the case by withdrawing her consent after the application had been filed.”
