I am searching for my fathers birth family. The only information I have is that he was born in 1926 and had the last name Bradford (possible first name of David) and was adopted in Van Nuys, California by James and Bertha Hunt in about 1928-29 (adopted name James Richard Hunt, he passed away in 1967 from Melanoma). There was a time that some of his siblings tried to contact him (possibly in the late 50's) for a family reunion but he refused to go. The rumor is that his parents were killed in a car accident possibly leaving he and his siblings with Grandparents. The Grandparents were unable to care for him, as he was the youngest so James essentially bought my Father from them. There are no adoption records for this as far as we know. He grew up to be fairly dark skinned with very dark brown hair and blue eyes. He did have very native american features, so we are wondering if there is some in him. Any help would be appreciated.
