My mum was born Sheila Hutchinson in 1947. Birth mother named as Betty Hutchinson(mrs) from mussel bough in Scotland. Betty came down to Yorkshire to have my mum as she was married and catholic, Betty gave her up for adoption in 1948 ish. Betty had apparently had a fling with a soldier while her husband was away and had fallen pregnant.
