Does anyone have any ideas how I can deal with this.
I know that a hospital in Scotland has details of my birth and my birth mother including her age at date of admission.
I know my birth mother's name and approximate age.
There are 8 women with the same name born within the time scale.
I have to obtain written permission from my birth mother to get her date of birth from the hospital but I need the date of birth to identify which one it is.

Because of the age of my birth mother (approx 80) she is most likely deceased but again I cannot check that because I need the date of birth.

I would appreciate any input at all
