I was born on the 17th December 1970 at 01.45am at St Finbarr's Hospital Cork by forceps delivery.
My birth mother was called Philomena and was 18 yrs old. She had brown hair and brown eyes and was from Co Kerry. She had 1 sister and went to a local convent school and later a technical school. Her occupation was recorded as a waitress.
Philomena stated my birth fathers name was Martin - of medium build with dark colouring. He was single and worked as a shop assistant. He was Roman Catholic
Philomena was admitted to the mother and baby home in Bessborough Blackrock Cork on 28th November 1970.
Philomena was transferred in Labour from the Sacred Heart Hospital Bessborough to St Finbarr's Hospital on 16th December 1970 and then returned back to the Sacred Heart Hospital on the 20th December.
I was admitted to the nursery at Bessborough on the30thDecember 1970 and discharged on 22nd February 1971
