Hi my husband was born in 1966 at Bessboro Sacred Heart Convent his mother was unmarried. However what is unusual is that she managed to leave with him when he was a couple of months old and came to England. Would this have been easy to do? As I presumed all babies were put up for adoption? Also we know that she did suffer terribly with her nerves all her life from this experience.
