I'm trying to trace the past of my late mother. I knew she was sent to a convent from her family home in Belfast (Clonard). I was always told she was going to become a nun, I have recently came to learn she had a child there, this may have been in the Lurgan area but i cannot be sure in around 1959ish, I am trying to piece together where exactly she may have been sent, This explain's the turmoil and anguish in her life, but NOBODY from my family is telling me anything. I wish to trace the where about's of a brother or sister I may have had as well but I am not quite sure where to start, if you have any information, web sites or email's that could help me, it would be very much appreciated...
