I have been looking for some help and came across your thread.
I was born 1950, Manor House, Castlepollard, WestMeath. I have my birth certificate and adoption papers, but I still can't get any information. I've been told my adoption records are down in Sacred Heart Convent, Cork, now that Sr. Sarto is gone, who would be able to help. I've tried calling but the phone # has been disconnect.
Any help anyone can give me would be appreciated
