Good advice Christine, and thank you so much. It's so frustrating when you find a record like this though and don't know whether to act on it or not. Although thinking about it logically even if she sent for the B.C. i doubt it would lead anywhere.
The most frustrating part is that my friends adopted (deceased) granddad , remarried shortly before Sara died. The new Mrs. Fergusson has all the adoption paper's, but is refusing to let my friend see them, except for a copy of the Adoption paper
