My father Geoffrey Sutcliffe was born on 23/9/1930 and his birth mother was called Lillian Shaw. She lived in Back Raglan Street, Halifax, West Yorkshire. He was born in a hospital in Bradford. He is now 81 years old and has been wondering about the circumstances of his birth and subsequent adoption. I have tried unsucessfully to obtain his adoption file but it would appear to be missing.He believes that Lillian had two other children born before him.
