If your mother is still alive, she can obtain her records by following the instructions at

Unfortunately, current legislation does not allow anyone other than the adoptee to access these records, so if your mother is no longer with us, you might want to try registering yourself on the adoption contact register, in the hope that a birth relative of your mother might be searching for contact.
